NOTE when you upload changed web page – you need to clear the History on Cell Phone
GO TO Settings – Safari – scroll to very bottom=} “Clear History & Web Data” For every change you make and save for the web site.
NOTE- When editing web site – there is undo button at top left. Hover over arrow w curved line underneath at top left. It only goes back once per change – so only undoes last change. CAREFUL! – at top right of each Main box =menu on side with buttons for “Layout” “Background” “etc CAREFUL! If the x it deletes entire Main Box & all images -ie maybe 40 paintings. You can only hit undo once to get it back. Final option=get tech support to set whole site back to hour b4 or prior day–or start from scratch.
NOTE “MAIN BOX” or " PAGE" I refer to the Large Box (page) that holds many WS images. 1) SET UP IMAGE PAGES Login=} pick HOSTING =}”Edit Site” on far right. =} Use menu on left to pick or create/name new page in hidden files to add or edit images- ie NY Images To Create or add to existing Main Page go to menu at top. =}BUILD =} BLOCK at top Right (NOT FEATURES) In Block =} “Gallery” - Scroll down options to add to page (scroll bar hidden at right)
2 FOR HORIZONTAL IMAGES = Pick Option #7 (= Six Rectangles Horizontal) Drag and Drop # 7 into a blank space on existing page wherever you want or to a new page.Change SETTINGS FOR a MAIN BOX. FIND Hidden EDIT Button =}upper right but in MAIN box Hover Select EDIT. In Edit Box change to Masonary (NOT GRID) Set Photo space 24 & photo size to 10 TO ADD NEW Image=] Hover above hidden Main Box Edit in upper rt. Hit ADD NEW IMAGETo REPLACE image Hover over any existing image-bottom center = hidden menu=} Pick replace button=looks like 2 mnts w. Then upload new image to replace preset. If you do 3 images it will fill a row with 3 hor images just the right size. NOTE if Margin between main boxes= too large change the top & bottom margins=Hover & find hidden menu at top or bottom middle- then reduce top or bottom margin
3 FOR VERTICAL IMAGES. Create New MAIN Vertical BOX or add to existing Vertical Main Box IF NEW VERT BOX Go to Build per above = then BLOCK on right (not Features) Select GALLERY –then scroll to OPTION #3 = Three Square blocks. Drag & drop option #3 onto white area or blank page. Change Settings in new Vertical Main Box to: MASONRY (not Grid)+ Space Size 20 + Photo Size 8 (note example Squares become Vertical rectangles) To Add or Replace w new Vertical images See the Horizontal instructionsper above. You should end up with 5 Vertical images in a row – the right size & shape. Change margins between main boxes/pages per above horizontal boxes. 4. DROP DOWN MENUs - DO NOT WORK RIGHT! IF HIT ARROW IT WORKS BUT IF CLICK WRITING TAKES YOU Direct TO FIRST GALLERY OR STORE Folks might not realize there are multiple Galleries or pages. SO I CREATED MY OWN DROP DOWNS. ON THE MENU ITEM PAGES MAKE A NEW PAGE GO TO PAGES on MAIN MENU =} ADD PAGE - Then NEW PAGE = "BLANK PAGE " appears at bottom of list Hover over Blank Page =click hidden Wheel & NAME Blank Page - say "MY STORES" =} Slide page UP to place wanted on menu CLICK ON NEW MENU ITEM "MY PAGES" and MY PAGES BLANK PAGE APPEARS THEN GO TO BUILDER (PURPLE BUTTON AT VERY TOP) to Create WS custom drop down menu SWITCH FROM FEATURES TO BLOCKS THEN HOVER Over the BLOCK item named "FEATURES "(5th option down) Its stupid but the Bloack Selection I NEED is called "Features" BUT its a second "Features under Blocks & is the only feature i can change background to black! (SO CAREFUL= there are 2 "Features" (Stupid!) first at top next to Blocks - Second features is in the Block list and called "Features" Hover over & then DRAG the "Features" Option (the one in the BLOCKS SECTION) to the empty }My Stores page" RESHAPE the Box by dragging edges to make it smaller to LOOK Like my DROP DOWN MENU AND POSITION UNDER "MY STORES" Add Text For each page on the menu - ie "WA Stores then below it OR STores etc" CHANGE TEXT TO WHITE = IE HIGHLIGHT W CURSOR & MENU ALLOWS CHANGE COLORS CHANGE BACKGROUND TO BLACK (SEE TAB ON RIGHT OF PAGE =HOVER ON TABS TO FIND BACKGROUND HIT BLACK & APPLY) SLIDE box UP TO EDGE OF MENU (There are many resize buttons =only lowest resize just above "go to Home" link will move it to very top) THEN LINK EACH ENTRY LINE ON MENU TO RIGHT PAGE per below - HIGHLIGHT EACH TEXT ENTRY - MENU APPEARS - HIT (chain) LINK BUTTON =} LINK TO "PAGES " Scroll DOWN to HIDDEN PAGES - FIND Correct PAGE & LINK ie to "WA STATE STORE LIST" which is in hidden pages NOW WHEN I CLICK ON MYSTORES - THE MY STORES PAGE APPEARS AS BLACK DROP DOWN MENU w White writing AND EACH ITEM LINKS TO its Hidden PAGE NOTE = THERE IS NO GENERIC "DROP DOWN MENU PAGE" SAVED IN PAGES - the linked page is the MENU ITEM itself NOTE: IF MENU & LOGO DISAPPEARS O TO BUILDER (PURPLE + BUTTON "BUILD" SWITCH TO BLOCKS (not feature) SELECT MENU & PICK THE MENU FORM (3RD FROM TOP LOGO ON LEFT (logo on left - simple menu on right)DRAG THE CORRECT MENU TEMPLATE ONTO TOP OF HOME PAGE (or blank page?)A generic logo will appear with Walters menu bar! Now change the logo = find edit, and replace image just like a photo) IF CORRUPTED PAGE AFTER PUBLISHING TRY UNPUBLISHING AND THEN PUBLISHINGGO TO HOSTING PACKAGES=} MANAGE=} EDIT SITE =] SHOWS SMALL PICTURE OF MY SITE =] UPPER LEFT = 3 DOTS.CLICK ON DOTS =} DROP DOWN AND HIT UNPUBLISH. THEN REPEAT AND AT DROP DOWN HIT PUBLISH OR... FROM BUILDER PAGE HIT THE "R" IN UPPER LEFT CORNER. IT TAKES YOU TO SMALL IMAGE OF SITE... HIT 3 BUTTONS AND FOLLOW ABOVE.... THIS FIXED THE CORRUPTED ZOOM IN PAGIIE I HAD FOR OVER A WEEK.
